Artist submissions will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance to specific project scope

  • Artist's alignment with BFF's Core Values

  • Artist's alignment with BFF's Code of Conduct (to our knowledge)

  • Artist's work history (if previously selected for past BFF projects)

  • Originality & Creativity

  • Composition and Design

  • Technical Skill/Difficulty

  • Presentation

Call for Teaching Artists in Residence

Introducing monthly Teaching Artists Residencies at Trudy's!
Open to any art class subject! All age-ranges! Flexible time frames! Stipend and supplies provided!

Teaching Artists in Residence made possible by the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment. Additional support provided by Mayor Stothert's Neighborhood Grants.

Calling Teen Line

We are proud to announce the launch of TEEN LINE - programming designed for teenagers & high school students. 

Exhibition Opportunities

Now seeking area teenagers who are interested in exhibiting their VISUAL ART during monthly First Friday art walks! Exhibitions will currently be located at Ted & Wally's in Benson - with more to come.

Teen Zine

We're on the hunt for submissions to our NEXT ISSUE of the "Teen Zine" publication! Now seeking all VISUAL ART & WRITING submissions - anything ART- or COMMUNITY-focused intended for print, including Drawings, Poetry, Prose, Interviews, Photographs, Comics, Images, and more! Although Issue #2 submissions have closed, we are always taking submissions for future issues!

Public Art

Design a Poster

Design a poster for the next First Friday event!  We are now accepting submissions for First Friday posters! All selected poster artists receive a Blick Art Materials GIFT CARD!
