BFF Omaha to Receive $25,000 Award from the National Endowment for the Arts
BFF Omaha is pleased to announce it has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for a Grants for Arts Projects award of $25,000. This grant will support Benson First Friday art walks which empower communities through art with inclusive and accessible programming, galleries, and public projects within the Benson Creative District.. The NEA will award 1,127 Grants for Arts Projects awards nationwide totaling more than $31.8 million as part of the recent announcement of fiscal year 2025 grants.
BFF Omaha to Host “FURst Friday” September 6th in the Benson Creative District
First Friday has gone to the dogs! On September 6th, BFF Omaha and The Byrd Bath invite dogs and their owners to the Benson Creative District for “FURst Friday.” Attendees can join a doggie parade starting at 7:30 p.m. from the Benson Community Center and ending at a pop-up dog park at the BFF Artist Market at Military Ave. & Maple St. Bring your furry friends to explore the many dog-friendly establishments in Benson for a day to remember FURever!
