This exhibition showcases the work of Scheerer Fellows, a distinguished group of artists committed to the arts as a vehicle for empowerment and social justice. The Scheerer Scholars in the Arts Program, rooted in the Ignatian values of Creighton University, supports students using studio practice, research, and activism to incite civic participation and spark community dialogue.

Through POINTS OF CONTACT, Callaghan and Lily explore the profound intersection of art and social impact, reflecting their journeys as emerging artist-scholars.

About the Show:
Finn Young presents The Reincarnation of Finn Young, a mixed media exhibition featuring paintings, poems, jewelry, and clothing pieces. Each work is deeply personal, drawing from Finn's experiences, emotions, and connections with people and nature. Using bright colors and varied materials, Finn explores themes of self-discovery, transformation, and the journey from adolescence to adulthood.

About the Artist:
Finn Young is a multidisciplinary artist based in Omaha, NE, who has been showcasing work since 2022. Their artistic practice spans paintings, jewelry, poetry, clothing, and found-object creations. Inspired by life experiences, nature, and the desire for exploration, Finn blends diverse materials to create art that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.

About the Gallery

BFF Gallery is a collaborative office, studio space, and gallery, representing BFF Omaha’s headquarters and official “First Stop” during monthly First Friday art walks. The BFF Gallery seeks collaborations via selected community partnerships and artists that Advocate for Education, Inclusion, Opportunity, and Unique Experiences. (BFF’s core values)
