Artist Amelia Broussard has spent the past month at the Genealogy and Local History Room illustrating your family stories through art! In a series of collage workshops, Amelia invited the community to create art incorporating elements of their family history.
Come and see what the community has created this September First Friday at the MaMO Gallery (located south of Petshop at 2725 N. 62nd St.)
“Remnants of the Past”, headlined by Amelia Broussard, will open on September 6th in conjunction with Benson First Friday art openings.
MaMO Gallery (pronounced “May-MOH”) is a semi-trailer-turned-gallery that travels throughout the region March-November, partnering with various communities and organizations, and hosts interdisciplinary programming, artist residencies, and immersive installations.
