The Galactic Resonances, formed in 2000, are a fringe online group. This group believes in the divinity of computers, and the possibility of uploading one's consciousness to the great data plain. They believe through transcending that our bodies will eventually become useless as we devote ourselves to the new technological gods.

The ideology of truth is skewed and twisted and we lose touch with reality. Wellness and modern spiritual culture comes from one of the most socially toxic spaces we commonly engage with. My fictional group is modeled after metaphysical concerns we experience in 2024. Meanwhile is a commentary of the narrative of untruth that we witness in our day to day, and how groups can recruit through any means into what is essentially a digital cult. All art was designed around both new visionary work, and my created narrative. The intrinsic mystical connection we have developed with computers. Comparing our bodies to new technology.

About the Artist:
Isabella is primarily a digital artist, who has an interest in digital spaces and sociology. They are an artist living in Omaha, Nebraska, originally from Pekin, Illinois. They received their BFA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha after deciding to get their life together in 2021. They are currently a 2026 MFA candidate at the University of Buffalo.
